About Ccdiscuss	English (USA)
The Ccdiscuss list has the following characteristics: 1. It's called 'ccdiscuss' thanks to Ernie Yacub for suggesting the name. 2. It's open but selectively moderated. 3. It will be choked gently by message length/message count per user, and these numbers may be tweaked too. This avoids over-long posts (which should be presented as URLs rather than included text). It also means that the bandwidth is more equally shared between list contributors. 4. Those posting messages to this list do so on the condition that they agree to grant and are able to grant a non-revocable license for the onward distribution, archiving and preservation of these articles on the terms of The Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 Unported License: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/ 5. Subscribers accept the arrangements for list ownership, and moderation style on subscribing. The list is courteous, openminded and welcoming to newcomers and list lurkers. Spam, invective and 'schoolyard' type argument will be blocked. 6. Pseudonyms are allowed because, for example, people may need to post from repressive regimes.
